I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the State of Washington. Originally from the Midwest, I have lived in several countries around the world, and I currently call Redmond home. After working with college students for over ten years, I decided to pursue a counseling career having witnessed the impact of mental health challenges not only on individuals but also on families and communities.

I received my BA from Loyola University Chicago and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. My counseling experience includes individual and group therapy, including play therapy with children. From a trauma-informed approach, I have helped clients achieve safety and stabilization, increase emotional regulation skills, and improve relational attachments among other goals.

I currently work with children, teens, adults, and families who are navigating issues such as significant life transitions, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma and abuse, relationship issues, low self-esteem, parenting, and women’s issues. Therapy can provide a much-needed space for self-reflection and healing.

Life is hard, and at times we need an advocate on our side. I am passionate about helping others understand their stories, improve their relationships, and experience healing. I believe that no matter your life circumstances, there is always hope.

When not counseling, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, chasing around my toddler, traveling, trying new foods, reading, and being outside in almost any capacity.

Hi, I’m Sarah.
